The course focuses on understanding the concepts of talent and talent management. Beginning with an introduction to talent management, this course describes key talent management concepts and outlines why managing talent is crucial to organizational effectiveness.
In addition, this course identifies the key activities associated with talent management and describes the roles played by managers in implementing a talent management strategy.
Talent management has evolved beyond the hiring and firing of employees to cover all elements of human capital strategy, from employee selection, retention, performance management and compensation to succession planning, diversity and more.
Upon the completion of this course, learners will be able to understand and execute key Talent Management activities like recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining the right talent to drive an organization’s performance.
